ATLANTA, GA – October 3, 2007 Signum Group LLC (Signum), a leading enterprise asset management consulting and systems integration company, announced today that it recently completed project delivery in support of a production go-live of Oracle enterprise asset management (Oracle eAM) for multinational cement company Buzzi Unicem.

Signum delivered the first two sites (Chattanooga, TN and Cape Girardeau, MO) of a ten site Buzzi Unicem rollout.

With the deployment of Oracle eAM, Buzzi Unicem will further advance its ongoing global environmental sustainability initiatives with programs that will improve production equipment performance and increase the overall energy efficiency of operations.

The Greater Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce recently awarded Buzzi Unicem’s Chattanooga Signal Mountain plant a ‘Green Industry Award’ for a plant upgrade, unrelated to the Oracle eAM system deployment, that reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 51.3 percent for each of the 870,000 tons of cement manufactured by the plant each year.
