Signum Group, LLC , the authority in asset and operations software solutions, has completed the implementation of Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) for Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production (OOCEP). OOCEP selected Signum to re-implement its existing Oracle eBusiness Suite and to integrate eAM as part of the oil and gas company's ongoing efforts to optimize multi-system functionality, part of their global expansion efforts.
In addition, OOCEP also engaged Signum to complete a detailed review of the company's current business processes in order to develop the blueprint to move to an overall completed Target Operating Model (ToM). An industry leader in Oracle eAM installations, Signum applied its proven SignumWay™ implementation methodology and toolkit to manage and re-configure OOCEP's existing modules including finance, human resources, supply chain, purchasing and sourcing, and inventory. Additionally, Signum deployed the concepts of agile project management to quickly bring the solutions to the end users, which accelerated the delivery and facilitated the acceptance.
"Signum is committed to using our deep enterprise asset expertise and extensive business knowledge to ensure our clients' goals are met," said Sue Hrib, CEO, Signum Group. "Using our SignumWay framework, we were able to quickly meet OOCEP's goal of supporting the Musandam Gas Project (MGP) and Abu Tubul Block 60 Project (ABB) with a fully integrated eAM platform, in addition to having the business ready for their future assets."
OOCEP IS Director Salim Alwahaibi said, "At OOCEP, we are committed to achieving strong operational results and financial returns while contributing to the future energy needs of Oman. With the completion of this project, Signum Group's experts have given us the foundation we require to make sure we can achieve those goals." He added, "Developing internal capability to maintain our ERP was possible through the wealth of knowledge Signum team brought to OOCEP."
Throughout the process, Signum adhered to OOCEP's core values by placing emphasis on safety and security in the workplace through role-based training sessions to develop the Omani workforce. Signum will continue to provide OOCEP with support services and training as needed.
